Where were you born and raised? St. Charles, IL

When did you begin running? I began running when I was in Middle school, where I competed in Track and Field. I continued running throughout High school. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Arizona to attend ASU. I stopped running completely until earlier this year when I started to develop a passion for running again. I knew I needed to start taking care of my health again.

How did you get started running? I recently started running again because I was out of shape and my doctor had some concerns about my overall health.

Favorite distance to run: 10K

Favorite race: I’ve only raced the Yarnell Memorial Run. I plan to run a few races this year, so I will let everyone know which race is my favorite at that time.

Favorite Track N Trail event: Grand Canyon

Favorite place to run: San Tan Mountains

Favorite Quote: “Every day may not be good but there is something good in every day.”

Favorite Song to listen to while running: I don’t have a favorite song, but I listen to a lot of Linkin Park and Skillet.

If you could run anywhere in the world where would it be? Alaska

Other Hobbies: Hiking, camping, and riding ATV’s

Advice for new runners: Don’t get discouraged! Everyone has to start somewhere. Surround yourself with positive people who are willing to coach you throughout your journey.
