Name: Ebenezer Scrooge

Where were you born and raised? Edinburgh Scotland

When did you begin running? About 200 years ago.

How did you get started running? I had a little friend named Tiny Tim and he suffered from medical issues. He needed many surgeries, so I started a run to raise money for him and his family. I decided that I should run the race since it was my idea!

Favorite distance to run: I love a good 10K not too big and not too small.

Favorite meal before a race and after: Turkey, the first meal I ate with Tiny Tim.

Favorite race: The Christmas Carol Classic Race in Denver every December.

Favorite Track N Trail event: The jingle bell run

Favorite place to run: London

Favorite Quote: “No space of regret can make amends for one life’s opportunity misused.’’ – The ghost of Marley

Favorite Song to Listen to while running: It came upon a Christmas Eve

If you could run anywhere in the world where would it be? Inside of Buckingham Palace

Other Hobbies: Baking, ball-room dancing, and painting Bob-Ross style landscapes with happy little trees.

Advice for new runners: Don’t be afraid to run. Just put one foot in front of the other and repeat. And repeat. And repeat.
